Very honest and reliable auto repair shop. Jim is great and trusted by our family. No BS over charge like other auto shops that try to rip you off all the time. If it costs us 5 bucks it's 5 bucks not 50 not 500. If we need freon he charges us for freon not replacing compressor. So we always come back to him when our cars have problem.
Fixed my tire same day within 15 minutes and a very reasonable price!

There's nothing more frustrating than moving to a new part of town, and not knowing of a mechanic you can trust. My Dodge Ram started experiencing overheating issues last week. I took it to a shop just down the street from True Auto Repair, only to be told the truck blew a head gasket and needed a $2,000 repair. You can imagine how disappointed I was to hear this, but something didn't sit right with what I was being told. I ended up taking my truck to Jim at True Auto Repair, who after setting up a super convenient overnight drop off with, was able to correctly diagnose and repair my truck the very next day. Turns out it was a clogged radiator. Not only did Jim save me thousands, he was also extremely professional and helpful through what was a very trying week for me. I HIGHLY recommend this shop to everyone in the Pinellas area. These guys are the real deal! Thanks Jim, and everyone else at True Auto Repair!!!
